And though we know you’ve had troubles,
It’s time for us all to sing them.

Please don’t abandon the people
Who are still waiting for freedom
Please keep your pledge to the people
There will be no need to flee them
They have been cleared of their charges
Their families long to see them.
Don’t be afraid of the people
Who call you names and accuse you
Don’t let their hatred of people
Who are not like them confuse you.
There is no point in appeasing
The ones who live to abuse you !

Do what is right for your nation
