Stephen, we love you.
When the black dog haunts you, know
That the tribe of the black dog is with you also.

We who know how it is.
Will not blame, or judge
If you try to leave again.
And should you succeed
We’ll try to understand.

But please stay.
The world is better for you being in it
And you, dear Stephen
Are better in the world
Than out if it.
